yep, my desire for underfloor heating in the shower was unfortunately also rejected back then with the same argument.There is also a technical reason to refrain from it. For walk-in showers, the screed must be installed with a slope. Then the minimum coverage over the heating pipes, usually 45mm, is often not formally achieved there. I have it in my place, so the screed had to be done on site there. Whether the minimum coverage was maintained, I don't know, and I don't care.
