I only like omitting the fascia box with roof beams. You probably have plank trusses?? The color plays a role; if the fascia box is white, it will be brighter.

But that already. You go around in circles. I read your opinion and say reconsider it. You say I am arrogant and do not accept suggestions anyway. Just read your posts again.

We want to integrate lighting in the roof box. And the roof box will definitely be white.

Here are more pictures of the house. The plaster will be white and not like in the picture.

I can't imagine that the quality can keep up with the common German manufacturers. You usually renovate a bathroom only twice in your life: once at the beginning and once at the end ;)

Accordingly, faucets etc. must last well 20-30 years.

Personally, I wouldn’t save at the wrong end here.

What is really overpriced in sanitary supply stores like Elements & co. are the bathroom furniture. For example, we buy those on the internet and install them ourselves.

Our sanitary offer totals €38,000 (for everything from the wall connection) for 3 bathrooms (shower + bathtub bath; shower bath; guest WC). Of that, €13,000 is for furniture & accessories, which we can get about €5,000 more expensive but higher quality on the internet. We decided on a series from Dornbracht, which is certainly at the upper end of the price range. If you take, for example, Hansgrohe, you’re probably a few thousand euros cheaper with the same functions and similar look.

"We asked 10 people..." and in the end got 10 opinions.

Ultimately, it’s a matter of taste. If you ask me personally, I would always prefer natural over imitation. So why not parquet directly if you like the wood look? That’s how I would (and will) do it. But as you see, it’s a matter of taste.

Pro tiles: generally easier to maintain.
