My shower is closed. A side effect of the underfloor heating in the shower is that it dries faster after showering.

And yes, I also find shower trays unpleasantly slippery. In earlier times, people sometimes used these "non-slip mats" with rubber feet ...

Our flush-mounted shower tray has a non-slip coating that is almost invisible. No matter how hard I try, nothing slips there.

Why is everyone always so afraid? In our shower, a shower tray element or whatever it is called was installed under the tiles, and then it was tiled over. If something is leaking, it would only be at the edge to the wall, and it can also leak there with a normal shower tray. That's why we simply don't have underfloor heating in the shower.

Our shower is tiled and without underfloor heating. I am not missing anything there, I do not have cold feet.

One can definitely see it the other way around – in an open shower, the ambient temperature equals the room temperature. This eliminates, among other things, the "cold" feeling when leaving the cabin. I am happy to be able to call an open shower my own again (I am a cold person). Rhineland greetings

I would say a tiled shower is initially easier to keep clean. The water dries faster than in a bathtub.
