Thank you for the productive question! Yes, it exists along with the possibility of derivation. But yes: the underfloor heating worries me. It would probably be smarter to install a shower / tub etc. in the basement itself rather than modifying the room. The room itself is too small; a tall man can fit in there to use the toilet and wash his hands properly, but no longer fit a shower. Above it is the enlarged bathroom, hence the downpipe. Overall, it should have been thought through more carefully. But as is often the case… you’re always wiser afterwards

If the underfloor heating does not extend all the way to the wall, it might be possible to route the supply lines up in the wall (in the exterior wall one would have to check to what extent this is possible, but maybe it also works in the wall that separates the WC). The drain could possibly also be placed at the edge and led down inside the wall if you make a walk-in shower. The only thing left would be that a slope would have to be built there. It's certainly not impossible. And in the basement you would then have the pipes on the ceiling. If that doesn't bother you. I had it done that way in my bathroom as well, when I wanted a walk-in shower. But my drain could be in the middle, because in my case the screed in the room was simply completely removed and the underfloor heating was reinstalled so that it also runs in the shower. Previously, there was a shower tray and a bathtub under which no screed was laid either. Otherwise, you would have had to patch the screed and you wouldn't have had underfloor heating in the shower.

You are not making it easy for us. Where exactly is the wall? Distance to the upper wall in the WC. Where exactly in the wall is the door? How big is the door? In which direction does the door open?

So far, this is how I understand you.

Now it is your turn to enter the measurements here. And to note any potential misunderstandings with a pencil. Please do not use a marker; this is not about meters but about cm, partly even about mm.

Hm, thanks for the input. Actually, a shower tray would be fine for us, the pipes in the basement are already nicely insulated on the ceiling into the room. I took many pictures of how we installed the underfloor heating, I need to dig them out. Your answer really helped me a lot. Thanks to you already!

Thank you for the effort, . (by the way, we also have a hanghaus) I will have to look into it calmly later when I have a folding rule and am at home. Attached are the pipes. Do I understand correctly that you could "pull over" hot and cold water from the downpipe? You could build a shower instead of the toilet? But the window? Risk of mold? The door (opens inward, hinges on the right) I could remove. I have already received good tips! Thanks in advance. We actually laid the underfloor heating right up to the edge.

My wife says, 150 cm from wall to wall. (No guarantee) and this is roughly how I had imagined the final result. It is actually about the pipes and drainage.
