The ratio between two legs (mathematically x and y) has something to do with design, think of photo formats, 9x13, 15x21, 20x30 etc... or the golden ratio (just google it). A rectangular room is also more pleasing to the eye. Transferred to (in this case) sanitary objects: take a bathtub of 90 x 180, oval shape... it appears more elegant than legs of 130 x 130. But as I said: many people have no eye for that at all, and then it is of course not relevant. The main thing is that you like it yourself.

Ah! Thank you! Now I understand.

Well, then we have done it right with our 90x180 tub

Absolutely right
The main thing is that you get them full too

Hello,

The most important disadvantage is probably the water consumption; you should therefore have a correspondingly large domestic hot water tank so that the tub can be filled with "warm" water without the rest of the household having to make do with cold water.

The next point is the later replacement of the model. These corner bathtubs are special models and are therefore usually not available on the market as long as standard tubs. This means, if you ever want/have to replace it, it won’t be done with a tub-in-tub system; probably not even the base will fit. So back to square one

We therefore recommend our customers to install a completely regular standard tub or even the next larger model into the corner angle of the bathroom; provided the room allows it. This has the advantage that it can be easily replaced, the water consumption remains within limits, and the decoration-loving head of the family gains 3 additional surfaces which they can lovingly design.

By the way, a bathtub also looks good on a long side. Place it in the middle and have plenty of shelf/decor space on both sides.

Rhineland regards

hi,

personally, I think a regular, free-standing bathtub is great and I wouldn’t buy a corner bathtub

We decided on a regular bathtub because it would have taken up a lot of space in the bathroom, at least in our case. How big is your bathroom?
