Many thanks ♥
Since yesterday, the plasterer has finished with us. The bathrooms and garage have received a different plaster. In the living room, one wall was left open because a lightweight partition wall will be placed in front of it. Otherwise, there would have been an awkward corner in the middle of the living room because the water pipe runs down there. And when I realized that, I was very unhappy. Luckily, our general contractor was able to fix it again. We are now getting a straight wall there, but we will lose some living space in the living room. However, I prefer that significantly to having such an ugly corner in the corner; I find those things extremely ugly. I am also traumatized from the first house. :D
I always find such shell construction photos a bit strange. When you know what it will look like when finished afterward. It’s hardly imaginable somehow. :D
We were also totally stunned by how the garage looks. It’s already so nice and feels so "finished." Although the floor is still missing, and presumably, a ceiling will come as well. Originally, we only had a carport in the contract and no garage because the price difference was too high for us. But our builder has done quite a bit that makes it look very much like a garage. Built it up, roof on, windows in, plastered... He is also laying the groundwork for a door. Basically, we would only have to invest 3-4k for a door, and then I see no reason why we shouldn't call our carport a "garage." =)
Now we are not allowed to enter the house for a while because work on the underfloor heating has begun. If everything goes well, the screed should be in by Easter at the latest. Then after drying, it’s off to the final sprint.
