We actually already had the Sylt in the previous house until it was sold. It's a really nice front, so I had no hesitation to choose it a second time. Besides, I think it's also pretty nice in terms of price-performance ratio. It's only in price group 6, but it's painted and not lacquer laminate.
We also looked at the reed green one from Nobilia. Also a nice kitchen. That would have been the Cascada, also PG6, but it was a lacquer laminate front. On the sample front in the kitchen studio, a piece was already chipped off at the edge. That gave my skepticism the final push.
I really liked the green one too, but I was determined not to let myself be swayed from my "dream kitchen in magnolia" by a trendy color again, and that ended up being the decision. Certainly not modern, but that's not my claim either. Honestly, not with anything in my interior design. I like it cozy. ^^
"Modern Farmhouse" appeals to me a lot. The thought also played a role that we see it as more likely that the white one will still please us in 10 years as much as it does today.
I always think you can really see how different tastes are with kitchens.
