Take a look at the nature-inspired ones from Atlas Concorde, for example the Trust with its tones and color nuances of various stones. Also the feel and surface…

Do you think my floor looks that bad? In this case, I was my own tiler ;). Although herringbone pattern does require some effort if you haven’t done it before. But natural stones forgive small mistakes due to their irregular shape.

Bad, no, not at all. It’s more a matter of taste, for me it’s okay, but I’m known to have a moderately unpopular taste. You yourself describe the points at which the hairdresser doesn’t trust each of his apprentices equally well.

Fliseur is a very nice word. :D

I wonder if our slip resistance class R9 for the selected bathroom tile from Villeroy & Boch is sufficient? In the old house, we had a "Greenwood Bruno," which had R10, and I didn't have any problems with it. Except for one time when the child wanted to leave the shower in a hurry. When running off under a running shower, you slip on it, otherwise not so much.
Do I need to pay special attention to this, or is R9 okay for the shower?

Hmm ... I have stayed in hotels that had fairly slippery tiles with their newly installed walk-in showers. It always felt like "please only controlled movements" in the shower, and I found that terrible even for one or two nights. I myself have mosaic tiles in my shower, which provide a good grip. In conclusion, I would pay attention to proper slip resistance.

Here's a picture from 11 years ago, shortly after tiling:

I wouldn’t take any prisoners there either. We have both bathrooms with the Beton Greys series from the company Terratinta Ceramiche in different colors (once color cold and once warm). Apart from the fact that the catalog is really worth seeing, I checked and it is R10. We have no problems in either shower.

Take a look at the catalog, they also have such great patterns like you like. For example Marrakesh.
