Dear ones, it is done.
We were at the bathroom and tile planning again and have chosen. A lot.
I hope somewhat correctly. Somehow, I always feel completely unsettled when leaving such sample rooms, wondering if everything was stupid. :D

So, in the bathroom we’re sticking with the old wall and decorative tiles. Floor tiles will be wood-look again, but much lighter than the last ones.
However, it harmonizes very nicely with the rest. The old, dark wood-look tiles were much more contrasting.

For the guest WC, we chose the same floor tile and wall tile (large format), but for an accent in the shower (shampoo niche inside) and for an accent wall behind the WC and washbasin, we had this offered:

I was somehow love-struck by these small, floral tiles included there. They’re certainly not standard-priced, but we’ll see where they end up. They’re called Bärwolf Ambience Spatolato.

That would make the bathrooms essentially the same, but differing in the accent tiles/decorative tiles. I actually think that’s a nice compromise between being completely the same and completely different.

The above should become the bathroom and WC floor tile. The mosaics are parts from the image above (accent wall in the WC).
The very light wood plank tile at the bottom is intended for the office. 2mm joints, the husband said. That might allow me to live with an office chair, but we haven’t finally decided which covering will go in the office. But if tiles, then maybe this one + carpet under the chairs. We’ll see.

For the tiled carpet pattern in the hallway, we chose these:

I’m usually more of a gray mouse + uniform blandness and simple. But here we dared to do something on 14m² and hope it will be worth it. :)
Maybe we’ll frame it with the matching, solid-color base tile, or if we find and choose a nice and affordable parquet, then maybe also 1-2 parquet planks as a border around. I could imagine both nicely. I find them really beautiful, anyway.

And then we have one here for "all the rest." I have to admit, it wasn’t very important to us; that’s for utility rooms. Storage under the garage, utility room, and HAR. The upper one is very plain; we could get it cheaply, for about €26 / m².
The lower one is a special batch currently in stock. Slightly larger in format, also has a strong surface structure, and looks like natural stone. We could get it for about €30 / m². My husband liked the lower one immediately, so we’re having it offered first. Something like the darker one above doesn’t disappear, there are several in that price range. The lower one was rather cheap for its quality and format. Both for us without extra charge. But clearly, if we took the cheaper one, it would offset the surcharges for others more.

Surcharged are the primary wall tile for the bathroom/WC (€1 / m² more than the standard), the decorative tiles/mosaics in bathroom and WC. In the bathroom, that’s €65/m²; we don’t know about the WC yet, we’re the first to have this mixed offered. :D
And of course the patterned tile in the hallway. That’s also significantly above the standard at €65/m², but at least not so high that we have to say, “we’re unfortunately out.”

All in all, I think we should stay in the three-digit range with the surcharges, and I could live with that.

Are those the Xelotec ones or are there other manufacturers that are also recommended? That’s exactly what I was looking for.

Nice selection, congratulations!

Although we are completely different in terms of choice, this one appears overall nice and coherent.
However, I am convinced that you will like the bathroom floor tile much more than the one for the office!
You run the risk of moving the office desks into the bathrooms because the office floor will look so dull compared to the bathrooms :)

Would you use the bathroom tile there again? The idea to take the very light wood tile for that came from the fact that parquet is supposed to be laid in the adjacent hallway (and everywhere else). The bathroom tile has a rather yellowish wood color, and we were looking for something more neutral so that it doesn’t clash with the (still unknown) wood tone of the parquet. On the other hand, this is also the case on the upper floor where the bathroom is. Difficult question.

What kind of parquet do you have in mind? I would probably choose the parquet first, since it covers a larger area, and only then select the tile so that it looks harmonious.
