I wondered today why the heat pump apparently consumes so much electricity.

One should make sure that the plasterers remove the protective foil again. ;)

Over the weekend, we had insulation and screed installed in the "carport". Now we are considering what kind of covering to put there.
The plasterers have now progressed to the point where they have applied the reinforcement over the entire house. Now we wait. The plastering should be finished by the end of the month.

By the way, this is what the builder constructed for us as a carport. :D We had requested offers for both a carport and a garage, but there was a price difference in the five-figure range, and at the time we said the garage was too much for us. Now, basically only a door is missing – but the electrical preparation has been done – and the carport already looks pretty similar to a garage. :)

If you can maintain the distance from the street for the garage, it is no problem to install the gate. It should not be five figures.

I would wait with the flooring until the gate is in place.

Screed is usually sufficient.

What is that at the beginning? Doesn't look very good.

What do you mean? The area at the entrance after the screed? I’m not exactly sure what still needs to be done there, it’s possible that the plasterer will still work on it so that it looks better afterwards.

Doesn't a corner piece go there first and then the screed?

I have to admit, I have no clue. I paid for a carport, what he put up for us is already so much more than I paid for, I’m not going to complain. :D
But knowing him, he has something in mind for how he’s planning it / going to continue.
It’s possible that he intends to make some kind of transition with the paving. I don’t really know either. I’ll ask him when I see him. Because it will slope slightly towards the street.
