Thank you :)
I also think we’ll leave the bath stub in place then. :)
We started with the bathroom planning yesterday. I think we’re boring, but we’ll probably use the same tiles for the wall that we had in the first house. I just found them so beautiful. o_O
The ones for the floor are supposed to be a bit lighter. You can see the color combination in the other picture. The mosaic tiles, of course, won’t be that small but 20x20.
The corner with the tub is not quite finished yet. Otherwise, we already really like it.
I would like to have 2 fittings in the shower (or a rain shower), but I also don’t want to give up either the bench or the shelves. I still need an idea for that.
The advisor really wanted to sell us on a freestanding tub. Visually it does look much better, but I find the Kaldewei Saniform incredibly comfortable, and you hear more often that freestanding tubs aren’t as comfortable.
Besides, there’s the higher cleaning effort and the missing shelf space around it. I always need that. I’m more the type who takes long baths and that’s not possible without a book, magazines, a cup of tea, and a bowl of snacks. :D
Now we’re also thinking about which areas of the house we want to tile and which to cover with vinyl/parquet. That’s always hard, but this time even more so since the sleeping area and the house entrance area are on the same level. I’d definitely like tiles where you enter the front door. But in the bedrooms and in the hallway in front of them, actually rather not, because I find that a bit “too cold” visually.
