I didn’t even know the term, I’ll have to google it.

Construction status:
The screed is in. The picture is from last week, now it’s accessible again. Tomorrow we meet at the construction site with the builder and discuss the outdoor facilities again.

I spoke with the electrician again today, since we’ll soon be among the e-car drivers and now need a wall box rather soon. We also asked about photovoltaics. We still have a somewhat uncertain remaining quota of coal to use up; this has to be divided among: outdoor area, photovoltaics, wall box, garage door.
We are getting offers for photovoltaics; the system apparently can be installed promptly. Roughly, the cost per kWp with our electrician is between 1400-1600. That seems okay to me at first. My sister recently got photovoltaics for the north side, which was a bit cheaper per kWp, but they had already ordered before the outbreak of the war; you can’t expect that price today anymore.
With storage, the cost per kWp would be around 2300-2500. But I will know more precisely only when I have the offers.

The switch series will probably be Merten Smart M by default with our builder. Today we were asked if that would be okay. Visually, I find them quite nice. Is there anything to criticize about them?

We have had them for 3 years as well and are satisfied. Just normal switches.

Merten M-Smart is square, practically good. Definitely a good choice. In fact, one of the best switch programs I know. Here I am talking about ease of installation and workmanship. I have installed Merten D-Life in my place. Identical division, only the covers look a bit different

The interior finishing has started with us.

We spoke with the contractor about the outdoor area. His offer was roughly 20k gross for everything.
This includes paving about 30 m² of terrace, about 50 m² of access path and garage driveway; additionally, he would pave some walkways behind the house so that we can get from door to door, and he would put in the splash protection around the house so that nothing gets on the plaster.
I think the offer sounds relatively fair?

On the slope, we wouldn’t do anything further in the first step. He said nothing will slide off there; after all, he has already proven for a year that it holds. His personal suggestion was to first green the slope with ground cover plants and then maintain them. For useful plants, we still have plenty of land that is not so steep. =)

.. you really made such a lucky find with your GU. The offer for the exterior sounds extremely fair .. including the materials, I assume - right?

Yes, exactly. Although we don’t have super expensive stones in there now. I sent him pictures of our old terrace, those were antique-distressed stones. But the manufacturer does not deliver to the south. I assume he can get something similar somewhere here. They’re not as cheap as concrete rectangles, but these are also smaller concrete stones, which are usually around €25 / m² in hardware stores. Although he doesn’t seem to think much of hardware store goods.
