It already looks so cozy! I also first got stuck at the utility room/laundry and pantry, it looks really great. I love good household organization. :D And I do it the same way, drying on hangers and then hanging the clothes directly in the closet. Everything else is way too much work.
Decorations etc. come gradually, I think you first have to live in it to know "Aha - a picture should go THERE". I also think it's nice that you have so many wooden furniture pieces. We also have mostly wood on the ground floor, upstairs, due to carrying (never carrying solid wood up the stairs again) and because the office and bedroom are rather narrow/dark, there are still many Ikea particleboard closets in white. I think both are okay, it depends on what you combine them with and how it looks in the end.
Is that Joka Calgary parquet floor everywhere, also in the children's room? It looks so beautiful.
I also think the stairs are great, they fit perfectly with the modern farmhouse look you have now. I think you can still see quite a similar style from the last house (so not the transitional house, but the self-built one before that) to this one, but it still looks fresher and more modern now. Maybe because it’s not a classic Frisian house. The large window is also a dream, turned out really beautiful.
I definitely wish you a good settling-in in the new house and lots of fun finishing decorating and furnishing, that always takes a long time but is fun, right? :)
PS: On the ground floor, I could totally imagine an XXL picture or wall hanging at the end of the hallway, so behind the stair railing, maybe something that also picks up the color of the tiles at the entrance. The wall is practically calling out for an XXL statement piece.
