All interior walls must be KS stone.
It is agreed in the contract to use pumice stone, or rather, climate-light block is written on the pallets.
I haven’t been very active here lately – have you already been able to sell the other house, now that you have moved?
Yes, we have sold it. We have temporarily moved into a family-owned house. It was quite run-down, but with the help of the united family, we have made it habitable. So, to be honest, I don’t feel particularly comfortable, but for the duration it’s a good thing because we have enough space, also for home office and child number 2, who is on the way. ♥
Aside from that, progress has been made. Lintels and exterior sealing work have begun.
The interior walls will take a few more days of work, our contractor said today. Otherwise, we have to wait for the concrete ceiling, which will come only in mid-October. Nothing could be done earlier. After that, work will continue with the second floor and then the roof beams.
The goal is for the house to be weather-tight before winter.
We have appointments with the bathroom planner and are looking for a kitchen studio over the next 2-3 weeks.
Regarding the kitchen, we are considering leaving out the small side wall (next to the tall cabinets, towards the stairs). The contractor suggested this. He said that way, we wouldn’t be tied to a specific kitchen row width.
What do you think? Good idea or not?
