It would probably have looked the same here if some thread here hadn’t encouraged me and if a few places away there wasn’t a house with a subdued green tone. We have now oriented ourselves to that, plus there will be dark red brick paving. I’m really curious; in about a month we should see it live.

Can you choose all the colors? We have pigmented plaster, and apparently there are different types of it. And in the type recommended by the general contractor, unfortunately not all colors were available or at least not all the ones I would have liked.

I think so. The contract only states "color selectable," but my site manager said we should keep an eye out for plaster we like and, if in doubt, ring the doorbell and ask what kind of color it is. That sounds like "free choice" at first.

From the forum beyond, I received the suggestion to throw into the color discussion. Although I would then be in favor of a more striking front door.

That is really a great color. Although our roof is black. We had thought about an iron glimmer for the front door so far. Unfortunately, a country house-style door would be very expensive; we are too stingy for that.
Do you happen to know what shade that is?

Interestingly, I also saved exactly that house from the thread on Pinterest under "Facade"; I had liked it back then already.

Personally, that would probably be too gray* for me; I would prefer a slight beige undertone (so "greige"), then it’s not so cold and concrete-like. But I find it really difficult to recommend anything here, it’s really a matter of taste. What makes you feel more comfortable and what fits the rest (front door, garage door, fence, planting, paving...). I know that doesn’t help much now.

*(I actually find the house from the linked thread very nice, and the floor plan is so compact and simple, I like it! I like smaller houses)
