It's not like that. You keep your head aligned with your body and then either close your eyes or read.

And I don’t understand how anyone can enjoy it, it doesn’t matter.

I don't find the toilet view ideal either tbh, but as ypg says, most of the time I’m reading or have my eyes closed. And you can also look somewhere else. At the decor on the tiles for example.. :) Since most bathrooms are square and toilets end up in some corner, you can basically establish a line of sight to the toilet from most bathtubs. You would really have to try to prevent that concretely by putting in a privacy screen or something. We experimented with that, but I found every wall arrangement in the bathroom ultimately awkward. It’s such a nice big room and when I put walls in there it always feels kind of cramped; it takes away the feeling of openness. Then we would have a big bathroom that feels tiny. :)

Me too, me too! :)

Unfortunately, we decided a long time ago not to post our own photos here, and I have to stick to that. May I post the promotional image here? It is called Spectra and was chosen by us because it is cozy like a normal bathtub, many of the others that looked nice were somehow uncomfortable... it's a pity that there is no WhatsApp function here to upload a picture and then delete it after viewing (-: But you can also place this type of bathtub against the wall so that it has your desired shelf and then surround it with tiles in a round shape, we had that in the rental apartment and it looked great... so practically follow the round shape with the tiles instead of always building it in with right angles

We have a "T-bathroom" layout, the view from the bathtub goes out the window and since the bathtub is positioned diagonally, there is plenty of shelf space.

Since you have to go to the staircase right in front of the bedroom door (not ideal), I would use tiles for the entire hallway and a small rug for the transition between the bedroom and the bathroom.
