Have I already said that I like such green? Yes, I have :) Funny enough, about a week ago someone called a green kitchen "horrible" in the neighboring thread of , where he presented the blue house… I just thought "finally a kitchen far away from white, black, and that dreadful concrete look." Yes, tastes can be debated, but not uniformity ;)

Exactly. And some would only get half a car for the most expensive kitchen.

For the interim rental apartment, we have already bought an Ikea kitchen with electrical IKEA appliances (the latter was pure convenience) in view of our house, and, with the move-in, also a new display cabinet and a new highboard. We already had a table and chairs. However, we are also just a 2-person household.
My best friend, with children and frequent grandchild visits, said, "Those few cabinets you call a kitchen?" :)
Besides, our taste is rather old-fashioned country style, so the modern high-tech high-gloss kitchens would not be an option for us, even though I acknowledge their beauty and like to look at them. Your kitchen will be a successful combination, in my opinion perfect. :)

We were briefly at the construction site yesterday to take some measurements. This is the current status. Progress is being made. The floor slab is supposed to arrive on Monday, then wall building will continue. And by the end of October, there should be beams on the roof. The plan is for the house to be weather-tight by winter. :) The current hurdles are completing the kitchen planning. I would like to order it soon so that we don’t run into too many delivery problems. Does Miele have as many issues as Siemens/Bosch? Otherwise, we had the kitchen recalculated in green. But that adds €4000 on top (it’s a Schüller), I don’t think it’s worth it to me.
