I agree, but tastes differ. I don’t mind. We are really looking forward to our dishwasher duo. =)
I just find it a bit amusing how much more naturally 2 ovens are accepted, which might be used about 20 times a year – while our 2 dishwashers, each likely running 200-300 times a year, are looked at critically. =)
Of course, that doesn’t mean I have anything against 2 ovens. I would have done it too, if I had the money and the space for it.

The dust catcher in our island will house our cookbooks and recipe folders. Yes, we still use those. As old-fashioned as our graduation shelf. :D

:oops:One more urgent question: How is your waste management in the kitchen? Do you have built-in trash bins (I don’t see a suitable pull-out for that) or do you place a waste combination in the room?

Instead of expressing one's own ideas of a kitchen as criticism of the kitchen after a finished, delivered, and installed kitchen, one should sometimes just ... ;)

... um, how would approximately 60 cm wide tiles have been installed uncut on the approximately 95 to 100 cm wide front side of the shower?

Really, I have no interest in that at all. I've heard that those devices are very expensive to maintain/repair.
Even if not, if I get a new coffee machine again, I would like a portafilter machine.

We have built-in trash bins. What is wrong with the pull-outs for them? I looked inside, they are there, and the pull-out closes. Works for me.

The tiles are actually significantly wider than 60 cm, they are floor tiles (Oak Park by Villeroy & Boch). It might even be that one tile fits exactly into the niche - or at least almost exactly. I haven't even talked about the cutting with the tiler, it wouldn't have occurred to me. But if I imagine not cutting them, that would look a bit like a railroad track, wouldn't it? Visually, I think that's not really my thing. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to do it. =D
