That looks great. I usually don’t like glass, but the light transmission and the clean overall look are convincing. The idea with the tiles bordered by the parquet, as far as I can see up there, also looks fantastic. Do you actually use Insta or something? You could finance the outdoor areas with interior content  Please report back if the wardrobe from Tikamoon is convincing. I often see nice things there but have never dared to order anything. We also have Joka Calgary since today; we had chosen it a while ago. After your photos, I was even more looking forward to it, and it really is a dream in real life!

I don't have Instagram. I think we already have enough influenza, I don't need to get involved in the crowd as an old eccentric with a house that's too big.

But I agree with you, the tile carpet framed in parquet has turned out beautifully. I'll also post detailed pictures once everything is finished and clean. The guys did a fantastic job there as well. I don't know how long they puzzled and measured it.

We had wished for it to be cut at 45° in the corners. And it really looks good, I'm very happy with it. The parquet in the entrance hall will of course develop a patina, no question. But I think that's nice and intentional in that spot. =)

I think the glass railing is great! Nice and bright, and at that spot in the hallway it looks delicate! The framed tile carpet was a good idea, the cutout already looks great!!! Looking forward to more photos.

You can really consider yourself lucky. I only know people who have had massive bad luck with tilers. It seems no one learns that anymore. The tiles in our rented condominium look as if they were thrown into the room and stomped down. If we win the lottery, they'll come out immediately. And the [Brüstung] is really very chic!

The guys who lay the tiles for us (actually everywhere, in the bathroom and all rooms), it feels like they’re building our whole house. Communication is only moderate (but their boss speaks good German), but they’re very nice. They really do all kinds of things and seem to be able to do everything. Laying tiles. One of them has already helped with the parquet floor. I’ve seen them plastering / filling. Painting, of course. Suspending ceilings.
We always bring sweets to the construction site for them. And I already asked their boss recently if they drink alcohol (are allowed to), he first said “not during work,” then we laughed. We want to give them a nice bottle of whisky or something when it’s nearing the end, because they really do top-quality work both of them.

The parapet looks great. May I ask how long and wide it is? Did you intentionally butt the long side together or was there no other way? We are planning something similar. Would you have another photo from the side where you can see the mounting profiles? Thanks a lot! :)
