Do you like it too? My husband liked it immediately as well, it's really a nice, warm tone. I think another parquet would be too expensive for me. A few hundred extra wouldn't bother me now, but a larger four-digit amount wouldn't be worth it to me for another flooring.

I agree with the opinion of . I really like the parquet. In my opinion, it looks real and not artificial. (For clarification: There is also real parquet that looks artificial.) To me, the color tone seems warm and bright, both of which I appreciate.

Edit: We came to the same conclusion independently. :)

Laid wall-to-wall, you will like it :) Even better if it is available without or with only a small surcharge. Just lay it out in the office! Proper wheels on the chairs and, as far as I’m concerned, a high-quality dirt-trapping mat as a carpet on top. There are high-quality models with nice colors/patterns... and they are a thousand times better than those chair mats.

If the parquet underneath actually gets damaged somehow, which I doubt, it’s still hidden under the beautiful carpet or it will be sanded down in 10 years and all is good!?

I believe this rather inexpensive parquet does not have the necessary thickness of the wear layer for more frequent sanding.
I've seen parquet badly damaged after rolling in the same spot for 10 years. On the other hand, we didn't really care much about floor protection back then; I just laid a carpet over it, but one that had texture and was thinner in some places than in others. Maybe I need to look for alternatives again that really protect the floor.

Exactly. You didn’t care about floor protection back then and don’t know what kind of parquet it was at that time. Now you are taking oak parquet, taking care of rollers and "protective underlay" (= carpet) and nothing will happen. At least 1-2 sandings will probably be possible, but probably won't be necessary ;) IF it really becomes necessary, you will pay a few hundred euros for sanding in 10 years and will have long forgotten the headaches you have now with possible alternative choices. At least that’s my humble opinion, as we enjoy the wood/parquet floor every day and still see it as a "utilitarian object" without headaches, which can also show a flaw now and then, if necessary :)

Do you use these XeloTech wheels directly on parquet? They really look good and are also extremely well rated.
