Another little update on our little house. =)
The big "wallbox" in the carport is finished. Next to it will be the small wallbox. Pipes for the controlled residential ventilation run through the big one.
We are considering accepting the offer for the photovoltaics & co. Then nothing else will be added, but investing the buffer into photovoltaics makes more sense than into aesthetics – at least that pays off.
The shower drain is installed. Meanwhile, they have cut more styrofoam around it. To quote my friend: "I didn’t know that there was styrofoam in a shower."
The pre-walls are now closed in the bathroom and toilet.
We almost had that pipe bend in the living room too – it was my mistake, I hadn’t noticed it in the planning documents. Both the builder and my husband wouldn’t have cared visually at all. But I was picky and absolutely didn’t want such an angled corner RIGHT in the middle of the living room. I almost freaked out when I saw it during construction. But the builder fixed it. He moved the drywall wall forward by the thickness of the pipe. The climate system also runs into the house behind it. They added insulation again where the break-through is. It’s attached as everywhere else on the ceilings with these metal rails.
Now I have a straight wall, just as I wished. Of course, I had to bear the cost for that, it will amount to about 500€ for materials. I don’t know if that’s cheap or expensive, but I’m glad it could be changed on such short notice.
View from the kitchen.
Only 2-3 months left, presumably. We can hardly wait. Hopefully, the little one will take their first steps here in this living room.
