Haven't you planned for a post-construction cleaning? Our site manager strongly recommended it before moving in, and it really paid off.

Had it at the last house, paid a fortune for it and in the end I still had to clean up afterwards because they had overlooked cleaning residues everywhere, and I told them to leave the kitchen alone - they didn't stick to that and caused defects there as well. When I complained, they came with flimsy excuses, the employee who was there was new, blah blah. This time I'll do it myself directly, then I save the money and don't have to get annoyed. In general, this construction site is already noticeably "cleaner" than the last one. The plasterers caused nowhere near as much mess on the windows, much more was protected and masked than in the old house. I'm optimistic about it.

How was it again, your construction contractor officially doesn't do anything anymore? Or can you still book him?

I don't think so, his last statement was that it isn't fun anymore due to the price increases.

We simply use the normal cleaning cloth. Squeeze it out well beforehand so that it is not too wet. And a special parquet cleaner. Although we do not mop much in the living room anyway.

That’s how I do it too. Just normal mopping with parquet cleaner.
