I believe our expensively purchased plot was still cheaper than most that are half as large, so I don't worry about it. At the old house we had a terrace depth of 4.5 m, which I found pleasant. Initially, I planned something larger here, but then came to 70 m² area, which is too much for me. Reduced, we now come to 45 in the sketch. I'll request prices, then we'll see further.

Don't let anyone convince you to have a giant terrace. You can also just put the beer benches on the grass at festivals. I also see a second seating area here as rather unlikely. Maybe a children's playhouse on stilts, you can easily craft it yourself with a left and right hand.

I think I would build a small seating area into the slope. Pick up the terrace theme again, model 2 or 3 terraces, and design a small seating or lounging corner on one of them. Plant flowers all around.

Maybe in a second step. Currently, there isn’t enough money for that. I’m also not sure if there’s enough space for it. The plot slopes at the back. At the widest point, it’s maybe 8-9 meters deep, at the narrow point only about 6-7, where the slope is cut back.

For easier understanding, I created a piece of art in MS Paint. :) The brown hatched area behind the house has already been provisionally leveled for us by the builder.

I am now assuming that your terrace is oriented to the southwest, right? Then there is still quite a bit of space below the terrace and that should be designed in a usable form.
