We will also have parquet (oak) almost everywhere, but laid floating ourselves. Tiles will only be in the bathrooms and in the entrance hallway. There I simply wanted tiles because of the expected dirt. Unfortunately, travertine was rejected for me :-( but I now have a stone-look tile from Italgraniti (Silver grain in beige) and for the upper bathroom on two walls from Equipe rhombus in white. Otherwise, we also tile the wall (if at all) with the floor tile. I just didn't like any other wall tiles. I really struggled a lot with the tiles. I just didn't like almost anything.

Who rejected the travertine?

Oh, I had to google travertine first - I would also find that beautiful for the entrance area. I should ask the dealer if they have something like that.

There are so many types and colors. We laid it in a herringbone pattern. I really like natural stone.
