Maybe one should advocate in the forum to differentiate between lift-and-slide doors and parallel sliding doors. Only the latter can be tilted. They are also a horror to me… you have the entire window element in your hand…

Me neither. I hate them. As a guest, I break them everywhere (unless the host quickly runs to me and says "sorry, I’ll take care of it"... haha :D)
In the 70s and 80s, there were great sliding doors... no idea what they're called ;)

So with a lift-and-slide door, we're talking about one like this :D

And this down here would be one of those tilt-things:

A lift-and-slide door? They're practically indestructible, and since you only need to flip the handle, you basically can't do anything wrong, right?

I think Yvonne means a parallel sliding door, which I also find terrible ;)

Yes, PSK is exactly that tilt-and-slide thing with which you can lock yourself out, and that we get if we don't want to pay extra :D

I think so too, that she means that. But once you've opened it, you know how it works. What's so terrible about it?
