Is it still a solid house there or rather a prefab house?

Hi
it remains a solid house.
For me, wall-high elements up to 0.8m wide were "pre-baked" in one piece at the factory. Without adhesive joints in the elements. They then came on a truck with a trailer completely for our bungalow. The crane on the truck was sufficient to set the elements. It was done in one day. I have been living in the house since last July and so far cannot see any problems. Interior walls are built from 11cm lime sand brick, and on all interior walls as the last layer, an upward open U-stone made from the same material was installed, which was reinforced and poured with concrete. Thus all interior walls are firmly connected to each other and at the joints also with the exterior walls. Additionally, when building the interior walls, metal brackets were driven into the porous walls in such a way that the protruding ends were mortared into the joints of the interior walls.
So far, no cracking can be seen.

Hello,
I am new here.
We want to build massively and need some tips.
Which concrete should be used? We actually wanted to use Poroton, but there was recently a report on TV that toxic substances were added to the concrete (woolit).
What alternative to Poroton can you recommend? There are also bricks made of pumice stone. Are they also recommendable? What are their advantages and disadvantages?
Thank you in advance.
Sandra

I would only use concrete for foundations, floor slabs, ring beams, possibly interior stairs. Poroton are bricks. These can be ordered and paid for with or without thermal insulation. I would consider sand-lime bricks as an alternative for calculating the shell construction and thermal insulation. I would rather buy and have pumice stones processed for masonry if nothing has to be hung on it.

Woolit was used until 2011 (?) - if you buy Poroton bricks today, you no longer have problems with them. Common stones for exterior masonry are: Poroton, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, and probably pumice stone (although I have never encountered that in the North). Each stone has its own advantages and disadvantages ... this has been discussed here many times - just search.
