IKEA kitchen quality and experiences?

We are also buying an Ikea kitchen. Just for the cabinets, we are paying a little over €3000, which was significantly more at all the kitchen studios. At Ikea, we can also exchange parts later, and accessories are easy and inexpensive to obtain. Not to be overlooked are the 25-year warranty and the straightforward process if something breaks.

Anyone who has already assembled an Ikea kitchen knows that it is not rocket science and can be done in 1-2 days.

Calculated over a service life of 20-40 years and considering the inexpensive and water-sensitive material, chipboard/MDF kitchens are very expensive. There are plenty of alternatives made of steel-stainless steel that are hardly more expensive to purchase and last a lifetime.

If you want the same kitchen for a lifetime, certainly a good choice.

But after 15 years, I think it's time for a fresh breeze.

Now I'm still curious, what are, for example, hardly more expensive alternatives?

Häcker Systemat was about €1000 more expensive for us when using the Ikea assembly price.

Well, I didn't expect that. The installation would cost us almost €2400 if I estimate €199/m.

For the installation, or the alignment and setting of the worktop, you can also hire a carpenter.
