Ikea Avsik, Faktum wall cabinet / Horizontal display cabinet door assembly

first of all, thank you very much for the help!! I just spoke with Ikea on the phone. I am getting new hinges sent from Sweden, the drilling aid from Germany, and regarding a drill or a mounting plate she couldn’t give me any information. Everything takes 6-7 business days. Alternatively, I could pick it up at the furniture store, but the nice lady herself said that she had a customer whom the furniture store also couldn’t help... and referred them to the phone.

In any case, IKEA has already been confronted with many emails and is well prepared

The Avsikt frame is too narrow to attach the folding hinges. That is why a "mounting plate" is attached which doubles the width of the frame.

just a quick question: Which Faktum cabinet do you have - the one that comes with the two drilling templates? I was "prescribed" the following by the friendly IKEA employee: 301.323.82 (Faktum 92x40cm).

my Faktum cabinet measures 70 x 40 cm; I don’t have the order number on hand right now since I’m at work, but it should basically be the same as yours, just with a different size.

Otherwise, everything seems to have been clarified now.

I once saw that you can get such small parts at IKEA’s information desk if, for example, screws or something were missing from the package. They have a whole wall full of compartments with these little parts. Do you maybe know if I could get such a drill bit there as well, since it’s actually supposed to come with the new cabinets? I’m going to IKEA again today or tomorrow anyway; then I could save myself the trip and the search at the hardware store.

Sorry, I had overlooked that: You don’t need hinges for the horizontal wall cabinet anymore. The door is held entirely by the folding hinge. But you meant that that way, right???
