You have to clean every kitchen anyway.

I'm a fan of your house. Have you already posted your kitchen? A few weeks ago, I looked at all the kitchen pictures here. But I don’t remember yours, only your faucet. Which we are also getting in matte black. Hope it doesn’t splash as much anymore.

You really must not underestimate it. You don’t see water splashes on light kitchens. On dark ones, there are stains everywhere. Likewise, flour crumbs, etc. But design is often not practical and you just have to live with that.

To be honest, I don’t know
I can only advise everyone against a dark sink. Even if you wipe it 5 times a day, you can still see water stains

Black fittings, sinks/basins, dark tiles in the bathroom, etc. always recommend a water softening system!

Thanks, yes, but we didn’t hesitate long. We had looked a lot in kitchen studios and at the blue Swede before, and when standing in front of the kitchen we had that "THIS IS IT!" feeling.

Yes, you can surely see something there, I didn’t have a suitable soft cloth yet in the new house and of course wanted to take photos right away.
It’s not perfectly cleaned yet, the smudges come from the assembly team.

I think our decision for matte black will still be a challenge because you also have to be careful what you clean it with permanently. Some cleaners (alcohol, solvents) can attack the matte fronts. You also have to be careful not to polish some spots shiny, that looks dumb too.
I’m always happy about care tips from people with experience with matte black!

Thanks! It’s not that dark in reality, the photos don’t really capture it properly. I only took them with my phone when it was finished. The faucet is not foldable. We definitely wanted this fixture. Fully aware that you’ll splash everything within a 1 meter radius with it. When the heart wants something, sometimes the brain goes into standby.

It’s very chic too. Also a very impressive coin jar.

I have been cleaning our black matte fronts with a magic eraser for almost 5 years. So far, no scratches, glossy spots, or light spots. Our kitchen is from Schüller. However, I do not take any responsibility; I have read on FB from some people who advise against using a magic eraser on matte fronts. I only read that now, and since I have been using them for years, I am not going to stop now. I can only get my fingers clean with it.
