Ah, so it’s about the wall on the side. I was somehow thinking the whole time about the wall behind the countertop and wondered how anything could splash there. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Oh, that works too
1. Full pot of coffee is important
2. Remove the lid
3. Try to hit the top basket of the dishwasher

That should be enough for the wall behind the countertop to be decorated.
