Excuse me? Or do you mean only the drug-containing stimulants?But I actually know few to no people who openly display their stimulants.
Houses, gardens, cars, kitchen pictures... not everything is always just about function, but also about enjoyment of the matter, colloquially pleasure. And if not presenting, then what do you do in picture threads, when planning a desired aesthetic, etc.?
And honestly: If this were an alcohol-free household, there would be nothing to see either. But having alcohol behind closed doors does not make it disappear nor lessen its effect. In true alcoholics, the reserve is invisibly stored in the toilet cistern.
And the fact that alcohol is an intoxicant, while certain products containing alcohol are also stimulants, contains a contradiction – I can only get one without too much of the other by controlling the amount. Why should it not be socially accepted to do that?
