Sounds strange. I only know this from, for example, shallow (countertop) hand wash basins in the bathroom (I've had enough of those things).

We also have the faucet (judged visually). I understand what you mean, sometimes that happens to us too, but I have the feeling it is more due to the installation being "angled" towards the basin, because this always causes you to wash much "closer" to the wall.

I miss the function that you can pull it out! Can you do that? Do you use that? That would probably allow for better control?!

Possibly turn the cold and hot water down a bit, then the pressure should no longer be so high. Alternatively, check the water pressure for the entire house; ours was also too high when we took over the house.

That could of course be the case. Yes, we also have the pull-out function. But of course, we don’t use it when we just want to quickly wash our hands. Water pressure is fine. My buddy has the same fixture but a sink 10 cm deeper. He doesn’t have these problems...
