Kitchen pictures thread - Show us your kitchens!

Without specifically addressing or even attacking anyone - where does it actually come from that so many people have much higher demands on their kitchen than on the rest of their furnishings?

Maybe it is also because the kitchen, due to the open concept, has a different status than before, today they are more "show kitchens" .... My wife earns her income through our kitchen, if that were not the case, I would not have invested so much money in it.

Show kitchens and center and heart of the house. Marketing has done a great job and sells the open kitchen as the liberation of women from the kitchen cubicle and a symbol of relaxed family happiness – in reality, she now has even more work because everything is always visible.

Attachment parenting also loves the all-purpose room, since you are always close to the child instead of having peace and quiet from fighting children and DAZN in the kitchen. :)

well, the kitchens will be newly purchased according to current taste and income, the living room wall might still come from the first own apartment. Why replace everything that is still functional, just because it no longer corresponds to the spirit of the times, taste, or budget?

I wouldn't necessarily see it that way. First of all, you can only spend your money once and then of course have to prioritize. I find it unlikely that someone hires LEICHT or a carpenter and then gets their furniture at Roller. But certainly there are pieces of furniture that have a lower significance and are therefore initially not bought as expensively as others. And these are certainly replaced sooner than a fitted kitchen.
