Actually, a trip around Germany should be planned sometime. To see all the houses discussed here beyond the usual 08/15 in person. I never could warm up to the atrium bungalow, but what you see now surprisingly pleases me.
Thanks. Wetterau isn’t that far away. I just don’t get around much anymore, thanks to Corona. Yeah, you ignored almost everything, if I remember correctly. ;) Whether it was good, only you can decide. Visually, I like it better than I expected. I admit that too.If you’re ever in the Wetterau, feel free to drop by for an espresso. Even though I skillfully ignored most of the tips in the planning thread ;) , you can always thank someone for the time invested with a coffee!
It might be due to the image quality, but in my opinion it actually looks high quality. After a long consideration, we also decided to take a piece with a live edge.

The concrete ceiling is unfortunately not completely straight, which unfortunately also affects the walls because the plasterer did not do a very good job. Most of the points on the defect list could be attributed to the plasterer. We will still fill the gaps with an acrylic joint; for now, I’m leaving everything open and imagine that it might help with ventilation behind the cabinet. We’re now waiting a year to get rid of any residual construction moisture, the wardrobes, bed, etc. are all currently standing 10 cm away from the wall.
Hall is a bit of a challenge for us, especially since the dog has been deaf for 2 years and since then likes to express himself with loud barking :/
Then you can’t see the kitchen anymore for all the pots and pans ;)
But we use it extensively, we both like to cook a lot. My wife also always annoys me and has to photograph it for Instagram; this way you get a nice overview of what we ate in recent days :D
