Kitchen pictures thread - Show us your kitchens!

No, nothing is standardized with the refrigerator. We simply paid close attention to adhering to the measurements during planning and construction. If we had also chosen a handleless kitchen unit by the window, our desired layout of the cabinets wouldn't have worked out, because with "handleless" you do lose a few centimeters, and we find it extremely practical to have handles on this side; the rest is completely handleless.

What is the workbench for?

On the one hand, the workbench is a visual accent; on the other hand, the rear recess of the workbench is for the kitchen herbs and cooking utensils, and the work surface of the workbench is also gladly used for communal cooking.

I have now looked at it for about 10 minutes and come to the conclusion that it wouldn’t be for me. I find the bench too big/massive compared to the rest. Otherwise, I like the kitchen.

The kitchen would be too colorful for me, I would already be bothered by the yellow Balea dishwashing bottle, I prefer it to be more straightforward there, but otherwise nice kitchen and great view!

Of course, the workbench is hefty. But that’s exactly a massive workbench. Nothing fake, an original feature that can definitely stand out.
I like it!
But I wouldn’t want it because I don’t like the narrow boards mounted on the island. I prefer it flat.

The built-in refrigerator doesn’t match the style of the rest, in my opinion.

What’s funny is: our kitchen has many similarities, but still not quite. Same angles, stainless steel-look refrigerator between light strip and floor-to-ceiling terrace door, white fronts, tall unit wall, 18mm dark countertop... Staircase opposite is open, just turned... Hallway is open too...

And it’s also funny that I thought the same as : to me, it already looks way too “messy” without any activity.
