Tried to open the drawers with my mind – unfortunately didn’t work, so we ended up with handles after all.
Apparently, my mental abilities are absolutely not sufficient for that (I feel the same about teleporting – unfortunately).
I don’t want the push-to-open from the front area in the workspace. Here we have the modern technology that detects if you are leaning on it and then (allegedly) doesn’t open. Unfortunately, that doesn’t quite work. It only works if you press compactly. If you just briefly touch it, the drawer opens. That would drive me mad in the workspace. So it had to be handles after all.
Hi Climbee,
I really enjoy following your posts here in the forum and appreciate the way you provide feedback.
The pictures of your kitchen appealed to us very much. The funny thing is that our future house’s kitchen is very similar, if not identical.
We are planning exactly the same orientation, will also have the wide, narrow window in the same place, the patio door in the kitchen, and the sliding door in front of the cooking island.
Since I don’t have 100 posts yet and can’t send you a PM, I would like to know if you would be willing to get in touch in some way, as I have some detailed questions about your kitchen.
Kind regards
Tarnari from Bonn
