That was done with drywall construction.

Just out of curiosity:

Is there an opening under the workbench? Will something be placed there?
Especially at the sink, I would find that extremely annoying. Water would splash in there, right? At least with our usage, it would almost happen every time.

yes, the workbench is still open, but it will be adjusted and closed by a carpenter soon.
