I just looked at the prices of the Dekton countertop and they are around 800 euros / m2 depending on the model. We have a SileStone, which is just as expensive but not heat resistant. That annoys me now :(

I doubt that Dekton and quartz composite are equally expensive. I have had quartz for 7 years, I NEVER place hot pans or pots on the countertop.

At least my quartz countertop does not break if a watermelon is set down a bit roughly and the corners do not break. A proper Dekton countertop must be appropriately supported underneath, and that is not free either. And it is significantly noisier than a quartz countertop.

On Cosentino’s website, there is currently a promotion: Dekton 12 mm €614.00 per running meter (max. 1.20 m wide). + cutouts.
The prices found as list prices for Silestone head in the same direction. However, of course, depending on the model, Dekton can also exceed €1,000 per m2.

Freshly assembled on Friday, only the chairs for the dining table are still missing. A door is integrated into the white built-in cupboard, hiding the access to the pantry.

The furniture is from Next125 in lava gray, the wood is oak, with the dining table and breakfast bar brushed... looked great in the studio but I think it will be annoying if you spill something;)

Looks good. I cannot judge whether it is practical. How sensitive is the surface, for example to fingerprints?
