Don't forget what the explanation is based on: the use of several sockets at the same time. Examples. I don't find the logic or causality in your answers. Or do you only have one socket, and that is for the one and only machine?

... kettle, coffee machine, phone and another kitchen appliance, still two left for interchangeable devices like e.g. toaster or food processor. The same applies to the counter: hand blender, deep fryer, rice cooker or electric hotplate for the non-induction-suitable soup pot, and at least 2 sockets are occupied.
