Sometimes I think I shouldn't have decluttered so radically.

But where to put all this stuff. It would have had to be stored temporarily, then it needs love and time, and finally a meaningful place

These are still pictures before completion.
Our side-by-side fridge is placed next to the sliding door (which is still missing in the photo) to the pantry. That way, it’s also accessible from the dining table, which is in front of the kitchen island.
We’ve assigned the steam oven and microwave to the pantry.
The dishwasher is installed raised next to the stove.

The backsplash and splash guard at the kitchen island are still missing.
It will be a printed aluminum composite panel, which I’ll do myself once I find a suitable motif.
