Hi, good attention :-) The grout will come later because the floors will settle anyway. Since I am a tiler myself, I decided it this way. The baseboard is powder-coated aluminum which is attached everywhere. Proper baseboard tiles are not really my thing. The strips are available up to 6 m in length and it looks quite decent even without a sill. Yes, the kitchen indeed still lacks some decoration :-( ..

,

very nice kitchen, finally a kitchen that shows color.

A small detail was overlooked by the studio, they didn’t notch the end panel to the right of the dishwasher, meaning the plinth area. I would insist on that, otherwise you have two dirty corners and this carelessness looks more like cheap kitchens.

And the oven is installed one height level too low, it could have been done better, also in a way that it fits "at the top."

Matter of taste. I find the continuous cover panels that rest on the floor more attractive; we did it that way for all cover panels both on our niche wall and on the island. Nothing gets dirty there. And our kitchen really wasn’t cheap either…

Show me a second kitchen where this has been done to this extent like yours.

Kitchens look cheaper with these bridging strips, I did not say that they are cheap. Recommend "bridging strips".

Now we have been in for two weeks and of course I don't want to owe an answer ;)

The table stayed there, it was only moved a bit away from the terrace door and placed in line with the breakfast counter. It's a few steps into the pantry but the daily use items are in the kitchen itself, so that works fine.

The missing room height, or rather the pressed look, has improved with the furnishings. So far it feels very comfortable to live in. Now the atrium still needs to be finished (already two weeks behind schedule) and then we’ll get to the garden.

I think it doesn't look "pressed down" at all anymore like in the early pictures... and: Great kitchen, I really like some details (chairs, surface and kitchen handles, niche backsplash), but especially I am of course jealous of the amount of space ;)
I have a question about the lighting: Is that the "Lucide SIGMA" above the island? If yes, are you satisfied with the workmanship, the light, etc. (it's one of my top choices for an area of the kitchen)
