yes, if we hadn’t gotten 2 identical kitchens, we would have had to replan as well, but it would have come down to painting since the fronts have a kind of texture, so they are uneven and no foil would have stuck.... if you look very closely you can also see a color difference here and there, because the kitchens were in different lighting.... but I somehow don’t have very high demands on the kitchen (even though stuff like that is usually important to me), I think it would be different if it had been a new kitchen and we had spent 20 or more on it.... as it is, it is what it is and I am happy and Tomtom is right, the fridge door hangs slightly lower probably due to it being filled?! it needs to be adjusted again.

I still think the yellow color is great! Many people are bold with the exterior facade and paint it pink, yellow, or something else, but for the kitchen, they choose white. It has to please you, and it does!

The yellow is great! I like these kitchens from the 60s/70s. We also chose ours (white) according to this flair: handleless Nolte, but consistently 60s dimensions.

Yes, now that you mention it... I probably would have combined it with dark wood, so a dark countertop and also the walls adjusted in color.

That can be fixed
But I also think that photographic optics make the errors look worse than they actually are. By the way, I often notice that with Ikea: the differences keep getting bigger

Dark wood would not have worked, we had also considered oak since we have that as an alternative floor in the living room/children's rooms and the platform for the bathtub (because the two floor coverings together have a great effect), but that was also too rustic for me, I like this clean/sterile look. My wish was a synthetic stone slab with an integrated sink and then a simple white faucet to go with it (but that would have completely blown the budget and added points on the doctor's office side). Walls in color, yes that might be an option, I think I'll consider it... thanks

Yes, you can still do that. However, I would only go along with the floor color now: light or medium gray, an accent wall in dark gray (not anthracite).

Say, where did you hide your fridge? I’d have some problems on the lower level because I like to have everything at eye level.
