@ xxsonicxx Did you mix something up or was it me? With Chris2511 there are no ovens etc. next to the fridge/freezer combo.

What do you think how much benefit a side insulation has, while the devices are open to the front or behind furniture fronts emit their "noise" into the room?

Therefore, it's useless.

None of you? My answer was clearly directed at Chris2511 because of the upper cabinets to the left of the refrigerators. Please clarify for me.

I couldn't swear that a fridge (cabinet) slapped onto drywall doesn't transmit a certain droning to the walls? But somehow it might be decoupled anyway so that the cabinets/enclosure can still work?

But finally someone actually enclosing it! I regularly get shivers at 20cm of space above the upper and tall cabinets.

here is now a picture of ours. A few details are not quite finished yet but it is already usable and we like it very much
