I had a discussion in a very early preliminary talk with the electrician assigned to me about why a cable is not laid right away. What are the arguments for and against here?
I wanted to install the photovoltaic system later because the developer probably has no providers or only at a high extra cost
A lot is happening right now and improved models are constantly coming out, also for the battery
I wanted to tackle the topic and get one if an electric car becomes an issue
We don't have a heat pump but a local heating network and would have no advantages with a photovoltaic system for heating, only for regular electricity
I wanted to install the photovoltaic system later because the developer probably has no providers or only offers them at a high extra cost
We also want to retrofit later, hence the empty conduits. I just checked the electrical invoice again: For both empty conduits, diameter 40mm, from the flat roof or the hipped roof to the technical room, I paid a flat rate (material and installation) of €80. I can hardly do it myself for that price. So: A conversation with the electrician of the general contractor is always worthwhile - especially since I don’t know anyone who gets out of the electrical work without extra costs.
Ah thanks for this thread, fits like a glove for me to check again if anything has happened on my end.
At the time, I had the general contractor include empty conduits for photovoltaics. The solar installer was already on the roof in the meantime and installed the modules. However, I am not sure if I ever discussed the topic of empty conduits from the basement to the roof for photovoltaics with the electrician.
