Rhine-Main area, but our plot is also as flat as a football field and you don’t do any other nonsense. Other builders told us prices for earthworks and strip foundations of 40k. But that was two years ago.

Today I ordered the perimeter insulation (XPS) for the basement. The cheapest offer was 98 euros/m3 (net) for the 300kPa variant and 110 euros/m3 (net) for the 500kPa variant. A year ago, you would have easily had to pay twice as much.

The insulation of the entire basement (Wohnkeller EH40 12x10x3m) has now cost me 5000 euros in materials.
