Why don't construction prices go down?

Seems very expensive to me now as well. I ordered from Schmidt, 3.5x5m aluminum + glass, with an under-roof awning and LED spots for a good 10k fully assembled.

The "special" thing with us is that we either have to do an on-roof construction or a pavilion with a flat roof. A bungalow with a deep (5m) terrace makes a classic construction unfavorable, because you end up constantly bumping your head. These aluminum-steel cubes are quite expensive, although I find them stylish. But I'm not willing to pay 26k.

The demand for apartments, refugee shelters, schools, and kindergartens is completely independent of the economic situation. In a recession, only the demand for industrial buildings declines.

Yes. But recession means fewer jobs, lower paid jobs... and with the high interest rates, the construction industry is currently collapsing massively.

Sure. At the moment, the books are still full, the nose held high. But that will change...
