Anyone who still thinks that we are not being ripped off and that the prices here are ridiculously overpriced should read the following article:

Merkur . de/wirtschaft/warum-Wärmepumpen-in-deutschland-dreimal-so-teuer-sind-wie-in-england-92401435.html

For example: one and the same heat pump, from the same manufacturer:
Here 16,000€
In England 8,000€

This can only be explained by greed.
A bit more expensive, ok, but definitely not TWICE as expensive.

Exciting to read, and nothing will change quickly there.

Hi! Here we are. I thought I'd check the forum again to see how things are. And as I expected, all threads have a significantly higher net income than us. So the hope of being able to build anything is close to zero. Our net income is probably about 5,000 EUR. And yes, I'm already looking towards 80-90sqm houses. Basically the smallest you can find.

It's just the interest rates that mess up your plans. The installment at 2% looks very different from at 4%. And certain costs in construction don't decrease proportionally with the living space, although reducing it does help.

With us, the start of construction is probably coming up in the next 1-3 years. The media reports that the building materials industry is increasingly experiencing sales problems. Acquaintances also see this at the building materials dealer. Can anyone already see effects on prices currently? Bricks, for example?

Otherwise, we have probably really hit a bad time to get a plot of land.

Why do you say that? Lately, it feels like you read more often that plots of land are being returned or something like that, so if it's purely about availability, the timing is probably not so bad. At least until about a year ago, it was probably worse. Depending on the region, though, it's still not easy. Prices and interest rates are a different matter altogether.
