Why don't construction prices go down?

Because demand is falling. Fewer houses are being bought and fewer houses are being built, which automatically leads to lower demand. Since the order books are still full, it just takes time for this to affect the craftsmen.

That is speculation at a high level. You can see where that has led. You should have just commissioned the windows back then.

Well, you can't expect a price war just because the "order books are bursting" to "order books are full." Only when they no longer know how to fill their time (which is rather not a problem given the shortage of craftsmen in Germany) will it become noticeable in prices.

Exactly because of statements like these, prices are going up. We'll see next year, I think it will be cheaper than in 2022 if I wait another year. There's no rush for me. But these ridiculous statements make everyone buy like crazy, no matter what the price is. You can see it with the heat pump situation, what's going on there. Totally nonsensical.

They will be empty soon, you can already see it with all the insolvencies, more and more companies are going bankrupt. Why? Because they have too many orders?

If it does not succeed in stopping inflation, you probably cannot expect any price decrease. The maximum, in my opinion, is to expect a reduction of the disproportionately high increases per year of 15-20% over the last 3 years (due to Corona and the Ukraine war) to the normal level of 2-3%. However, an increase will certainly remain. In 30 years of construction cost calculation, I have never experienced a price adjustment clause offered negatively.

Rich is the one who is patient...

Of course, some still try to milk the cow as long as it somehow works. Always nice to see when the boss of the "Nicht Meister" - craft business shows up with the AMG.
