I don't think we actually have a disagreement. I was referring to the word "artificial". But there is no "natural" price for the services of nature, which is why the market cannot regulate anything here. Ergo: Any measure intended to have a preventive effect is artificial. What else? I did not mean to say which artificial measures are useful and which are not. Different topic.

Huh? Says who?
( Aside from the fact that crude oil is a natural raw material )

The absorption of emissions by the atmosphere is a gratis gift. The absorption of nitrates into the groundwater is a gratis gift. Pollination by insects and soil processing by worms and fungi are also such gifts.

If you cut at one of them, the market doesn’t care, because these things belong to no one and have no price tag.
Yet, it doesn’t work without them.

Hmm, I didn't notice that at all:
KANN concrete paving March 2023: €32.40/sqm
KANN concrete paving February 2024: €32.40/sqm
And consistently at 3 major building materials dealers

They are firmly in the saddle. Fortunately, I know someone who owns a small building materials store, and I have now gotten €30/sqm as a friendship price and went for it.

All net!

Edit:
1kg glacier gravel still! €1!

If I remember correctly, Kann introduced an energy surcharge on material and freight at the beginning of 2023. At the turn of the year 24, both were removed and the total price was introduced as the new net unit price - landscaping, alongside heating/climate/sanitary, feels like the only industry that still has no gaps in the books...
