Why don't construction prices go down?

Overtime is okay. But you give up a constant salary increase because you have to pay taxes? Really?
In the end, in this logic, you’d have to calculate back how much the progression would have to change until tax savings and gross increases are equal. I don’t know anyone who does that.

Agreed. I never understood the logic behind why the minimum wage threshold shouldn’t also be the tax-free allowance. Social contributions still apply anyway.

Well, if the salary increase comes with a more demanding job, I know plenty of examples in my circle of acquaintances who don’t "make a career" for that reason. Myself included.

And already two pages are being talked about top tax rates. People, they are not our problem. Our problem is that we either do not tax millionaires and billionaires at all or only very little and promote tax avoidance. We are not talking about the ordinary employee and also not (dear FDP) about the baker around the corner. That is exactly the wrong discussion, which then leads to nothing again because everyone is afraid that something will be taken from them.

Then yes. But even 40 years ago. Not because of too little more money, but simply because you can't buy life time with pain money. The subjective work QUALITY beats salary in the majority of cases - but for decades now. That's not new.

And there are also rich people who address this very explicitly and even explain how they do it. Most recently on Hart aber Fair (forgot the name of the multimillionaire). Conclusion: Germany is a tax paradise for the wealthy if they know how to do it. And if you have enough, you can simply buy this knowledge.

I suggest we solve this by simply cutting the money for 15,000 citizen’s allowance recipients. *ironyoff*

To the topic: The dynamics of construction prices began long before the traffic light coalition. Just wanted to mention that.

I followed exactly the same show (because of the discussed content) in shock and this is what I am referring to. But the main thing is that the FDP and CDU bash the poorest in the country instead of dealing with the richest. That’s where the social fuel is created.
